Putaendo (Chile), 09/13/2022, MCS – Viceprovince of Aconcagua.- On September 10th we celebrated in the Parish of San Antonio de Padua de Putaendo, Chile, the perpetual vows of Sister Licarayen Fernanda Torres Muñoz of the Vice-Province of Aconcagua.

We have dressed up to accompany our sister, who, has confirmed her Fidelity to God with the public proclamation of her Perpetual Vows in our Congregation. The motto that has accompanied Sr. Licarayen since her first profession is: "The Lord God has opened my ear, and I was not rebellious, I did not turn backward" (Is 50:5). We ask the God of life that his Word, especially this biblical quotation, may be a strength in joys and difficulties, may it enlighten your commitment to continue to proclaim the Risen Christ in the Church according to the charism of Marie Poussepin.

The celebration, lived in fraternity, simplicity and joy, was marked by very significant moments, which commit all the sisters of the structure to respond to the call to be a synodal Church, a Church that listens, with the awareness that listening is more than hearing, as Pope Francis says, it is a reciprocal listening in which each one has something to learn... and in this way, to continue to learn... and in this way, to continue searching for the answers that our brothers and sisters and Chilean society expect from us today.

At the end of the Eucharist, the sisters together with the family of Licarayen and friends, went to Marie Poussepin College to share a fraternal agape as a sign of gratitude to God for the gift of life and the religious vocation of our sister.
