Il Rosario, Roma (Italy), 07/22/2020, Sr. Cecilia Parra Ardila.- With fraternal greetings, I would like to share a poem that was written by Sister Angelica Ramirez Silva, from the Province of El Caribe, on the occasion of the Beatification of Marie Poussepin celebrated on November 20, 1994.

Sr. Angélica Ramírez, died on November 2012. And I can testify that she was a sister who loved Marie Poussepin very much and in the Pastoral of Educational, where she carried out her mission as Principal; she set out to make Marie Poussepin, her life, her Work and her Mission known. The last Educational ministry where she carried out her mission was a School of “Fe y Alegría”, located in the town of "TEMBLADOR", ESTADO MONAGAS, VENEZUELA. There I had the joy of seeing how the children and adolescents of this Institution knew and loved Marie Poussepin. And I felt a great joy when one day I heard a little girl of about 7 years old recite with great enthusiasm and conviction the poem: "MARIE POUSSEPIN, LIVE TODAY", written by Sr. Angelica.

MARIE POUSSEPIN LIVES TODAY

She lives in the Sister who teach today,
Lives today in the Sister who works as a Nurse
Lives today in the Sister Catechist
Live today in the Sister of great meaning
humanitarian and social work.

MARIE POUSSEPIN LIVES IN THE SISTER-TEACHER
That not only teaches knowledge,
But above all, it sows values of love, respect,
Justice, equality, and the struggle to transform society
through Education.

MARIE POUSSEPIN LIVES IN THE POPULAR EDUCATOR
That starting from reality,
She assumes it to transform it.
Today, Marie Poussepin lives in the
Students who want to wakes up to
the sense of solidarity, of commitment,
of justice, of freedom.
