Tours (France), 05/31/2025, Sr. Yeli Aidé Aristizábal Zuluaga.- On the occasion of the Feast of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, the official opening of the International Community – Mother House took place. This event, experienced in an atmosphere of recollection, prayer, and fraternity, was held in the Chapel of La Grande Bretêche during Vespers, presided over by Sr. Mariamma Paul, Prioress General.

Joining in this significant moment were the General Councillors Ana Patricia Londoño Flórez, Scolastique Nayabzanga Bei, and Beatriz Elena García Santa; Sr. Véronique Margron, Provincial Prioress of Europe, along with her council; and the Sisters from the communities residing in the Mother House and the community of the St. Dominique Residence on Rue de la Barre. Their presence expressed the spirit of communion and hope that unites us.

This new beginning at the Mother House, the vital center of our Congregation, is for every Sister of Charity of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary a call to renew her commitment to the Charism and mission entrusted by Marie Poussepin—an invitation to respond daily with generosity to the God who makes Himself present in our lives.

Openness, availability, and trust in God are virtues we contemplate in Mary and that deeply echoed in the hearts of Sisters María Escayola Coris, Herminia Rincón Marín, Sandra Janeth Herreño Gordillo, Odile Pantointogsba, and Yeli Aidé Aristizábal Zuluaga, who received the mission to be part of the International Community – Mother House. With the desire to live these virtues, we welcome this stage as a time of grace and renewed offering. We entrust ourselves to the intercession of the Virgin Mary and her prayer, so that this new community may be a source of life, service, and faithfulness. Likewise, we commit to building fraternity based on who each one is, and to walking together in this entrusted mission.

At the end of the celebration, we joyfully shared a fraternal dinner – a simple yet meaningful expression of the joy that strengthens the bonds that unite us.
