Sainville (France), 08/30/2025, Sr. Lisa Kadampattuparambil.- August 22, 2025 was a journey of excitement and hope where the daughters of Marie Poussepin from different parts of the world converged in the cradle of the foundation to drink the water from the well of Sainville. We were warmly welcomed by our Superior General Sr. Mariamma Paul, Sr. Maria Escayola, Sr. Marta Mendieta, Sr. Anula Suguna and the community of Sainville.

The opening prayer prepared by Sr. Anula Irvin Suguna, was a joyful invitation to draw and drink from the well of Sainville where her spirit and charism is bubbling with dynamism. We were like empty pots waiting to be filled and quench our thirst for knowing and living the charism. The integration programme conducted by Sr. Marta Mendieta was creative making clear the objectives and expectations of the pilgrimage.

Every step we take in this house, a holy ground, teach us something new.

The Chapel Marie Poussepin poured out the groanings teach us to live in conversation in the spirit,

the Staircase she climbed up and down teach us her concern for her sisters and outsiders,

the Well she made teach us to be always aware of others thirst for God and quench it,

the Garden that she nurtured tells us her love for work,

the walk we took in the village of Sainville whisper to us that we are called to be a friend to those in need.

The Parish that we visited touched us a lot as we saw the place where she sat and wept for the sinners. 

The Road our sisters walked for decades to work for the salvation of God’s people not by ease but by surrender, sacrifice and sustained love is an inspiration for us.

We are harvesting from their watered dry land. We are most privileged sisters to lower our empty buckets deep into the silence of our hearts through prayer, reflection, inspired sessions and satisfy our thirst to discover her original dream for her daughters.
