Burkina Faso, Ouagadougou (Africa), 03/10/2026, Sr. Pauline ILBOUDO.- Motivated by great trust in our Congregation, the Archdiocese of Ouagadougou, through the Director of Catholic Education, entrusted us with the management of the new administration in Kossoghin. It was within this administration that, on September 25, 2014, a new community called “Paul Hélène de Kossoghin Community” was established to facilitate management.
Thus, in the spirit of our charism, we work in collaboration with the Archdiocese of Ouagadougou in various specific missions. Our current mission sites are as follows:
At the Directorate of Catholic Education
The Directorate of Catholic Education of Ouagadougou is the management and supervisory body for Catholic schools within the Archdiocese. It operates under the authority of the Bishop and in connection with the National Secretariat of Catholic Education (SNEC) of Burkina Faso. It coordinates all diocesan actions in education, teaching, and training within Catholic Education. It ensures the implementation of national and diocesan guidelines, as well as the educational oversight of Catholic institutions.
Sr. Valérie KAGAMBEGA is in charge of accounting. She oversees the operation of the financial department and is responsible for all revenue operations, payment of salaries, allowances, taxes, social contributions, etc.
Sr. Pauline ILBOUDO, in the secretariat, organizes the Director’s appointments in coordination with him; she receives and directs visitors to the Director and the Economate. She drafts, receives, and sends the Director’s correspondence and manages personnel files.
At the Diocesan Center for Event Hall Management
The Diocesan Center for Event Hall Management, located in Kossoghin within the Directorate of Catholic Education of Ouagadougou, has facilities including two halls available for event rental, as well as a chapel for Eucharistic celebrations. Use of the facilities is by reservation. Sr. Noëlie COMPAORÉ is the person in charge.
In Service at Paul VI Hospital
Paul VI Hospital is a private healthcare facility belonging to the Archdiocese of Ouagadougou. It was founded in response to a call from Pope Paul VI and gradually transformed from a Medical Center with a Surgical Annex (CMA) into a hospital, developing through donations and improved management to offer more comprehensive services.
The sisters working there are: Sr. Josiane NANA in ophthalmology, Sr. Céline COMPAORÉ in specialized consultation, and Sr. Pierrette ZONGO in the laboratory.
For twelve years, we have testified to the Love of Christ through welcoming all who come to us within this community, and we give thanks to God for His assistance.
