Chiquinquirá (Colombia), 07/10/2018, Sr. Olga María Botia.-On occasion of the 100 Year Anniversary of the Coronation of Our Lady of the Rosary of Chiquinquirá, as Queen and Patroness of Colombia, the Dominican Friars have put together and agenda of preparation which involves the whole People of God.
Villaclara, Manizales (Colombia), 07/18/2018, Sisters of Perpetual Vows Meeting.- Since the 14th of June to the 14th of July, 2018, eleven sisters belonging to the structures of Bogota, Bucaramanga, Los Andes, Medellin y Santafé, enjoyed the provident presence of God who led the to drink from the sources of the Charism to project in perpetuity their passionate service to humanity, centered in Christ, within the Congregation and in the Church, to live and die at the service of Charity.
Medellín (Colombia), 07/22/2018, Sr. Ana Patricia Londoño Flórez.– During these last months, the Clínica El Rosario, of the Province of Medellin received some awards and recognitions, which points out that the standards set for health care are not an impediment but a resource for the exercise of Marie Poussepin’s charity at the service of the sick.
Bucaramanga (Colombia), 28/06/2018, Hna. Luz Karime Mancipe.- Sisters from five structures, Bogotá, Medellín, el Caribe, Santafé, Manizales and Bucaramanga attended the First Meeting on “Affective-sexual-integration in Consecrated Life” from June 27-July 3.
Asunción (Paraguay), 07/02/2018, Sr. Adelaida Alba.- The World Cup of Faith was experienced on June 23, 2018 at the Stadium General Pablo Rojas, in the city of Asuncion – Paraguay. There were over 75,000 Catholics to live the ceremony of Beatification of María de Jesús Sacramentado “Chiquitunga”, thus awakening the faith and love of Paraguayans gathered there from very early hours; one could see the joy in the faces of children, the young and the adults patiently waiting to be allowed in for the celebration.
Roma (Italy), 06/26/2018, Sr. Blanca Aurora Marín Hoyos.- In Rome, the General Assembly of the Pontifical Academy for Life met, from June 25 to 26, 2018. Some sisters of the general government participated.
Bogotá (Colombia), 22/06/2018, Hna. Adriana Marcela Rojas Rodríguez.- On the evening of June 21, as part of the celebration of the 145th year of the Sisters presence in Colombia, the Provincial Government, the communities of the ‘Casa Central’ and some sisters from nearby communities got together for the blessing of the remodeled areas of the house.
Medellín (Colombia), 06/21/2018, Sr. Ana Cecilia Villegas Cadavid.- The Santa Inés Pastoral Center, in Medellín, hosted 30 Sisters on June 18th and 19th to hold a workshop on Social Media. Space that made it possible to develop some of our own objectives as preachers, that we live the mission in a world that is avid for words, gestures and manifestations.
