Chile and Argentina, 10/28-11/17/2016, Sr. Gabriela Vergara.- The canonical visit to each community was begun with the Bible quote from Job 14: 7-9. Now, all of us in the Delegation of Aconcagua thank the Lord because, the presence of the Sisters of the General Government had been like water for each Sister, each Community and for the mission. It helps us to shoot out new branches and flower again in the soil of Chile and Argentina where we realize the mission entrusted to us.

Fusagasuga (Colombia), 11/11/2016, the Community of Education at the School.- A great celebration of the 110 years of the existence of the Presentation School was held on October 27 and 28, with grateful recognition from the civil authorities, the Church of Fusagasuga and the accompaniment of the Province of Santafé.
Lourdes (France), 11/13/2016, Redaction.- Sr. Veronique Margron was elected as president of the Conference of Religious in France (Corref) on Saturday, November 12, at Lourdes. The 59 year old religious has been Provincial Superior in France since 2013.
Manizales (Colombia), September, 2016, Catholic University of Manizales.- The Congregation reaffirms the importance of its presence in the logo of the Catholic University of Manizales (UCM), its only university in the world. Sr. Maria Escayola Coris, Superior General and the General Councilors accompanied by Sr. Herminia Rincón Marín, Provincial Superior and some Sisters had a meeting with the UCM community in September during their canonical visit in the Province.
La Grande Bretèche (Tours-France), Summer of 2016, Srs. Gemma Morató and Conchi García.- We offer the third chapter of the series that we are preparing on archives and mission of archivist.
Lima (Peru), 10/1-25/2016, Sr. Amparo Vélez Pérez.- The canonical visit of the General Government was a time of grace for us in the Province of Los Andes. It was a very special time to share with them the journey of the Congregation in Peru and Bolivia during the past 51 years, a mission accomplished with audacity, creativity and risk taking and in simplicity, work and poverty.
Putaendo (Chile), 11/01/2016, Sr. Gabriela Vergara.-From October 28 to 30 the Missionaries of the Presentation were gathered at Marie Poussepin High School in Putaendo (Chile) for their annual formation meeting with the theme “go and preach”.
Haití, 12/10/2016, Sr. Ana Patricia Londoño Flórez, administrator.- Surely all of us are tempted to think that Nature is teaching Haiti a lesson, but it is something that we are not so sure; on the contrary, yes, we are sure that that the Congregation and the Province have earnestly engaged and committed themselves to the people of Haiti and are in continuous discernment to give renewed responses according to the needs identified in our places of mission. On this last October 10, during the celebration to mark the functioning of “Marie Poussepin” Pediatric Center in Haiti for a year, we set up a clinical laboratory for the service of the community around. It will take care of not only the children who come for consultation at this center but also the children and adults coming for this service from other institutions as well.
