We are aware that the reality we live today is complex and requires our creativity and audacity to continue to be women who are bearers of the Good News of the Kingdom in the midst of our brothers and sisters, especially the most vulnerable.

Karrada, where the community lives, is a neighborhood that throughout the 20th century was primarily a Christian neighborhood in Baghdad. In the present century, it has been rapidly inhabited by Muslims.

We give thanks to God for the election of the Provincial Superior and her Councilors, for their life, their vocation and their availability to assume this service of authority with commitment, responsibility and joy.
