Concepción de Cañazas, Veraguas (Panama), 09/29/2024, Sr. Vanessa Villalobos y Emilianeth Ortega, student of the Carmen Conte Lombardo Institute - Churuquita Chuiquita Community.- From September 26 to 29, Sisters Bertha Atencio, Elisia Perez, Virgelina Gil, and Vanessa Villalobos, accompanied by 8 young people from the Carmen Conte Lombardo Institute, Churuquita Chuiquita Community, and 4 young people from the Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission Center, El Bale community, traveled to the community of Concepción de Cañazas, in the province of Veraguas, Republic of Panama.

Bangalore (India), 11/09/24, Sr. Daisy Rose Peenikaparamban.- The 22nd Indian Dominican Family Convention was hosted at the Provincial House, Bangalore from the 30th of October morning to the 1st of November evening. 95 participants from different branches of the Dominican Family gathered for this event. 15 priests, 36 sisters belonging to 5 Congregations, and 44 Dominican laity from 8 chapters.
Bucheon (South Korea), 10/12/2024, Suman Gabriel Kujur.- “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me” (Phil 4:13). This verse from Scripture could well have guided our sisters in beginning the mission in South Korea. On October 12, 2024, we celebrated a day of gratitude to honor 25 years of service by our Dominican Charity Day Care and to mark the Feast of Blessed Marie Poussepin.

Caracas (Venezuela), Sr. Nícida Díaz Leal, October 2024 .- In religious life, we sisters owe it to ourselves to take care of each other, where we live, move and exist, namely in our community, in our mission. Paraphrasing the quote from John's Gospel we can say, take care of one another as I have taken care of you so that you may have life by taking care of each other (cf. Jn 13:34-36.10:10).

Clenching their fists and teeth to stifle cries of pain, they embark on this journey, driven by a single reason: the absence of opportunity. Burkina Faso (Vice Province of Africa), 10/06/2024, Sr. Nicole Kabore, JPIC delegate.- The Season of Creation is a time to renew our relationship with our Creator and all of Creation through celebration, conversion, and commitment. It is celebrated every year from September 1 to October 4. This annual ecumenical period invites us to pray and act together as a Christian family for our common home. The 2.2 billion Christians around the world are called to pray and care for Creation during this time.
